Born in 1942 in France, he graduated from the Graduate School of Commerce of Lille and Sciences Po Grenoble.
He is Honorary Director of Labour, and has spent his career at the Ministry of Labour in the regions and headquarters.
He has participated in the definition and implementation of European programmes in the field of vocational training and in the exchange of experience between the countries of the European Union.
His international experience makes him a staunch proponent of European federalism, convinced that there is a majority of commonalities between the countries of the Union that differences are more a wealth than an obstacle to unification.
